Main House Bedrooms
A sweeping staircase leads you from the entrance hall to the guest rooms above, where a gracious country life awaits with all the comforts of modern living. In the main house, five luxurious double/twin bedrooms are on offer — three with their own en suite, and two sharing a spacious bathroom and shower.
In the newly renovated wing, once the servants’ quarters and the oldest part of the house, four further bedrooms await: two en suite, and two sharing a bathroom. Together, the two wings offer nine beautifully appointed bedrooms in all, sleeping up to 23 guests.
Majority Blue Suite
The Majority Blue Suite is a firm favourite among our guests. Wake to sweeping views of the Galtee Mountains on a clear day, with the parkland stretching out below. The room is generously proportioned, with an antique king bed, ample closet space, and a rich woollen carpet underfoot. The newly renovated en suite bathroom offers a deep soaking bath, walk-in shower, bidet, and basin, along with complimentary toiletries from The Handmade Soap Company — all natural, and made in Ireland. An additional single bed can be added on request. Sleeps 2.
Signal Light Suite
The Signal Light Suite is a beautiful, spacious room overlooking the Lismacue gardens. Facing west, it captures the very best of the evening light.
The room offers a supremely comfortable king bed and single bed, a rich woollen carpet, and exquisite antique furniture throughout. Immortality Bedroom
The Immortality Bedroom is centred around a stunning antique carved oak four-poster bed, once owned by the acclaimed Irish novelist and playwright Molly Keane, celebrated for her sharp and witty portraits of grand houses and the lives lived within them. It makes for a truly memorable night’s sleep.
The large east-facing window frames breathtaking sunrises over the parkland below, while the newly renovated bathroom — just across the landing — offers a long, indulgent soak in a deep bathtub that has stood in the house since the early 1900s. An additional single bed can be added on request. Sleeps 2.
Record Run Bedroom
The Record Run Bedroom offers a gloriously comfortable queen and single bed, in a room bathed in soft pink tones. The window looks out over immense oak trees and rolling parkland — a peaceful, restful view in every season.

The Welsh Game Ensuite is a spectacular and unique room, with a vaulted cedar-lined ceiling and intricate gothic cross-hatched windows that look out over the front parkland.

Consensus Ensuite
The Consensus Ensuite is a cosy room overlooking the inner courtyard garden, in the newly renovated wing. Originally part of the servants’ quarters, these rooms are smaller in scale than those in the main house, with a charm and character all their own.
