Intimate Weddings
Lismacue offers a truly private setting for couples who want their wedding to feel personal rather than production-line. With exclusive use of the house and its nine bedrooms, your closest family and friends can stay under one roof for the whole celebration — waking up together the next morning rather than saying goodnight in a hotel car park.
Say your vows in the drawing room or out on the lawn with the Galtee Mountains as a backdrop, then celebrate long into the evening in rooms filled with candlelight and history.
Special Occasions & Celebrations
From milestone birthdays to anniversaries and family reunions, Lismacue has hosted gatherings of every kind — including, memorably, an afternoon tea party for a 60th birthday, complete with a specially baked cake and cars hidden from view to keep the surprise intact until the very last moment.

Hen Weekends
Lismacue makes a beautifully different setting for a hen weekend — swap the usual for roaring fires, elegant reception rooms, and the run of a genuine Georgian manor. With nine individually styled bedrooms, the house sleeps up to 23 guests, so the whole group can stay together under one roof, from the first prosecco to the last late-night chat by the fire.
We offer a full service for the weekend, taking care of catering, a private chef, housekeeping, and any activities you’d like arranged, so all that’s left for you to do is celebrate.
Murder Mystery Nights
For something a little different, we can arrange a bespoke murder mystery evening at Lismacue — a playful, immersive addition to any celebration. Guests take on characters, follow clues through the house’s grand rooms, and compete to solve the mystery over dinner, all set against the backdrop of a genuine 300-year-old manor.
It’s a wonderful way to bring a group together and add a memorable twist to a birthday, hen party, or family celebration.
